Let me break it down for you. Good marketing brings people to a decision. An action.

Action is truth. Sales is pure truth. Nothing else really matters. It doesn’t matter how many followers you have on twitter (unless you are playing the media game in hollywood).
But most of us just want to get a customer.
Good marketing brings qualified people to your door. Great marketing can do that at scale. Everything else is BS.
Filter all your actions with this question… “Is this going to bring qualified prospects to my door?”
If it is not, then you need to seriously wonder why you are spending time on it.
Build things that qualify people. Write content that qualifies people. Don’t write for everyone.
So next time someone has a new 14 point strategy with a weird made up name like the domination determinant… Just keep your head down working on what really works.
